The Canon XL2 allows you to capture images closer to the finished product than ever before. Work that previously was limited to post-production can be simply and effectively accomplished in the field, in the camcorder.

Video Editing Our studio uses Final Cut Pro to edit video
With native support for virtually any format, Final Cut Pro lets you edit everything from DV, IMX and uncompressed SD to HDV, XDCAM HD, DVCPRO HD, and uncompressed HD. Unlike other solutions, Final Cut Pro acquires HDV media and keeps it in the original format, with no generation loss. Output via FireWire back to an HDV camera or deck, or transfer your native HDV to DVD Studio Pro. Tapeless workflow support with Panasonic P2 compatibility allows high-speed ingest and editing. You can view and browse P2 devices, then transfer the files you need directly into the Final Cut Pro Browser.

Features of Motion include the ability to create custom particle effects (as well as using pre-built ones) and to add filters, effects and animations in real time.
New features in version two of Motion include more responsive live editing, the ability to address up to 4 GB of RAM and GPU acceleration at 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit float color depths. There is also a new 'replicator' function, which allows an object to be replicated to create a repeating pattern of a specified size and shape. With this method, it is also possible to create animations in which the elements of a replicated pattern move in sequence. Motion 2 can also integrate with a MIDI keyboard, so that parameters can be controlled by keys or faders; this opens up the possibility real time parameter input into Motion.
